About This Store
Three friends came up with the idea to open a dessert shop after enjoying a comforting dessert together. They traveled throughout Asia to find the best dessert recipes and ingredients, learning from experienced chefs along the way. They created a unique recipe that combined Southeast Asian flavors with fresh ingredients. In 2004, they opened their first dessert outlet and have since expanded to nine locations and a Central Kitchen. Ji De Chi has become a well-known and respected dessert destination in Singapore, loved by locals and tourists alike.

Reviews - What People Think About This Shop
The food at this dessert outlet includes shaved ice with various flavors like durian, matcha, and black sesame, as well as other desserts like Ai-Yu, boba, and green tea jelly. They also offer hot desserts like black sesame and barley. The outlet is very popular after dinner and is a nice place to hang out with friends and eat ice.

While the prices are higher compared to local hawker stalls due to its location in a mall, the overall experience is positive. The sitting area is small, but customers enjoy the desserts and would recommend trying other options on the menu. However, there are mixed reviews regarding the taste of the mango-pomeo sago with grass jelly, with some customers finding it plain and not satisfying.

The overall quality of the dishes is acceptable, but the value and cost are not considered favorable by some customers. The outlet is recommended for groups who want to chill and hang out, but some individuals personally do not recommend it. Overall, it is considered a worthy offshoot of a legendary original with a less crowded atmosphere.

Customers enjoyed dishes like the mango rice rolls and black sesame snow ice, which they found warm, fluffy, and flavorful at a more affordable price compared to similar Korean desserts.
